Universal Learning Systems is an international consultancy firm specializing in research, education, training and project management. ULS undertakes projects for a number of clients in the educational, development and management sectors. Based in Ireland, ULS also has associate offices in Barcelona, Helsinki, São Paulo, Athens and Chicago. The ULS focus is on professional development with a particular emphasis on work-based learning. ULS works in with a wide range of clients: these include universities, open learning institutions, schools, employers and community associations.

We fully respect your right to privacy. Any personal information that you volunteer to ULS will be treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality, in accordance with the Data Protection Bill 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (EU 2016/680). Any information you provide is used by ULS only in line with the purpose for which you provided it. Your personal data may also be anonymised and used for statistical purposes.

Elements of our website are hosted through Hubspot. This website uses a HubSpot tracking code which uses cookies or similar technologies to track visitors. We use the information gathered to improve our website functionality, the user experience and content.

This information is used for the newsletter Subscription Service. We may collect navigational information when you visit HubSpot-hosted web pages on our website. The navigational information is used to improve your experience of using the website and to ease navigation around the site.

Mailing Lists

As part of the subscription process for our Newsletters, we collect personal information. We use that information to tell you about events, training courses, deadlines and relevant articles or blogs. We use a third-party provider, HubSpot, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry-standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our Newsletters and their delivery. You can unsubscribe to our mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails. Event Registration

We use a number of different providers to allow people to apply for or register directly for various events (which may be held either online or at a venue). When you register using these tools, we use the personal data you provide to help us manage the event and meet your information needs. We may also use the data to build our lists of people who may be interested in hearing about or receiving funding through our programmes. We don’t rent or trade registration lists with organisations or businesses.
